Only the DM has chosen to use the picture WITH AN ARROW TO HIS BACKPACK. Even the Sun has been marginally more subtle...
ps - has occurred to me recently that people - ie tabloids/ taxi drivers - might be slightly less harsh on tube drivers next time they strike for better pay. I for one wouldn't begrudge them a hauling-bits-of-people-out-a-dark-rat-infested-tunnel-premium...
Have you flicked through the BBC comercial channels recently? There is 24 hour a day terry & june, the good life & allo allo. Just the sort of mindless drivel you like. Ok, so its on a pay channel but your in a socio-economic group that can pay.

It's not just the BBC, I hate him as well.
The white middle class etc etc etc would be quite happy watching BBC News 24, or BBC Four, or BBC One. Traditional sitcoms were mostly for working classes anyway. Oh, and Newsflash: ITV HATES YOU TOO, AND SO DOES SKY. sheesh. What an asshole. The BBC doesn't hate him, they just don't believe he exists anymore. FFS.
thank goodness for the DMs classic comedy DVD to cheer him up. Hope it's got great British comedy like 'Mind your Language' on it
Is "Quenten Letts" a real name ? I understand he changed it by deed poll from Lars Hole just so he could get a job on the DM. Is it true that the DM group hate the BBC as they part own ITV? I think we should be told.

The Daly Mail Group Trust provide teletext for ITV and have a 20% share in ITN so they have their foot in the door.
The Daily Mail hates the BBC, except when they want to sell more papers by giving away BBC comedy DVDs.
