As an EX Police Chief you can speculate as much as you like and the DM with splash it as a "fact" headline on the front page.By my calculation that is about 1 terrorist for every 20,000 of population. So that is 2 in the crowd every time Arsenal play at home then. Suddenly Hoodies and Chavs seem like nice people to know.

The Daily Mail makes clear that 3,000 does not refer to terrorists currently in Britain but rather "many" of that number have long gone - passed through.
Joke or not, that 70 year old man comment was idiotic. Or are you that stupid and actually think that's what the Mail is saying? Or are you yourself that stupid and actually think that terrorists are only trained by Laden?

So anonymous - if the DM makes clear the majority of those 3000 trained terrorists arent curently in Britain, why does the front page claim to reveal 'the staggering influence of Al Qaeda in Britain'? A bit of unncessary scaremongering some might say.
