I find it intresting, nay expected; that the papers are prepared to announce this as a suicide attack even though the police still will not confirm it. Only the FT goes with 'suspected suicide attacks'.
The DM headline writer today seems to think (s)he is writing a trailer for a shit action movie.

Haha, that headline goes well with the DVD push. I can just see the comic strip presenting this.

The headline is a bit subdued. The original was going to be. KILLERS IN OUR MIDST-SUSPECT EVERYONE WITH DARK SKIN AND A RUCKSACK-VOTE TORY FOR A SAFER BRITIAN.
The Mail regularly has headlines that sound like B-movies titles and taglines. My favourites from the recent past are (from memory): Tax Attack on the Middle Classes!, Housing Market Set to Explode! and Milly's Dark Secret (a particularly lurid/salacious non-story about whether Milly Dowler had an internet boyfriend). Even the headlines on your site seem to read like The Thing from Another World; ie: 3,000 Trained for Terror and "It was a scene from hell. God knows how many people died down there." If I was directly affected by the bombs (or Milly Dowler's parents) I would sue the bastards for maliciously causing distress.
"Utterly British" is very self conscious. They’re too aware that revenge attacks on Muslims are happening and that they could easily be part blamed for that.
Of all the fking people, it's the DM that ha benefited from the bombing, lookout for more intereting reads in comming day, weeks, years , fking blow the DM !
