Guilty by association?

See the wording?
'Their families came here...' '...and how do they repay us?'
Tarring people with the same brush is wrong DM. Your founder was a buddy of Hitler, does that make you a Nazi newspaper?

This has to be contender for one of the most hateful front pages this year.

I was just waiting for a front page like this. Now, if these new "anti-racial-hatred-inciting" whatever they are law came in...bloody hell, the DM and DE would go out of business!

Hey..wait a minute..thats a good thing.

After thinking about it, surely in this front page alone we have a case to put the to Press Complaints Commission as it is clearly inciting racial hatred.

The DM's headline is hard to fault under the PCC's Code of Practice as it is very specific on what a publication needs to contravene.

Just a quick question. I read this site, but have noticed that you criticise all the tabloids, except the daily Mirror. Why is this? Why does the Mirror seem to have immunity?
(You may have criticised the Mirror in the past, but I missed it. I have only been reading this site for two months.)

What about the big hat competition at the top of the page?

Anonymous - the Mirror doesn't go about printing racist lies (like the scum and the star and the assylum seekers eating donkeys/swans stories).

Although I'm only a visitor here like you, I reckon that Merk and the gang would happily rip into the mirror if it turns into a hateful rag.

If you read the Mirror's editorial on the bobers today, it's short, to the point and incredibly well argued - and the complete opposite of what the Mail and the Express have written. Plus I thought their coverage on the bombers today was pretty good.

When the Mirror gets it right it does well. When it doesn't...

Chirst, how depressing those front pages are. It makes me so sad - if it weren't so dangerous it would be amusing.

Nate - we already have racial hatred laws, the proposals are referring to religious hatred...? I think the hatred here IS racial tho, but incidentally religious.

So you show a headline and then append something controversial to it to tar the paper in question by association with your made-up nonsense? Cool.

Check the archives, you'll see this rag needs no tarring.

Thank you for posting as Anonymous though, shows you've got guts.

er... pretty much, yeah. that front page and the express one were sickening. and then people who read them wonder why ethnic minority members sometimes have chips on their shoulders. it's pathetic. wind em up, then complain when they retaliate. the mail and express are just bullies.
